Lou Cantou
Lou Cantou (which means Ingle-nook fireplace in local dialect) is a typical
Périgord village cottage many centuries old. It has the characteristic steep, sloping roof
which is a feature of the area.

Downstairs
Sitting Room
This has an open fireplace and beamed ceiling, some walls with
exposed stone. Always cool in summer, yet with woodfire burning very cosy in cooler months.
Easy chairs, video player, and large selection of books, videos and games. Toilet under the stairs off the sitting room.

Dining Room
Seating for up to 6 people. Food cupboard and buffet. Leading through French windows onto marble floored,
covered patio with table and chairs for outdoor eating and barbecues.
Kitchen
This is situated off the patio. Gas cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, plus all usual kitchen utensils.
Shower room with shower and washbasin to rear of kitchen.
Upstairs
Rear Bedroom
Two single beds and chests of drawers. Access to front bedroom.
Front Bedroom
Double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and ensuite shower-room, with
shower, wash-basin and toilet.
Loft Bedroom
Access via loft steps. Twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Mainly finished
in wood cladding, one wall exposed original stone. Two velux windows.
Garden
Small, enclosed, private, lawned garden, with access to shared pool and lawned area.
Access to shared washing machine, woodstore and bike sheds.
